Coaching For College Students
As a college student, you are probably facing a number of considerations. These might include decisions on academic majors and minors, internship and career opportunities, managing your time and energy, or deciding what the next right path is for you.
In addition to being a college professor for over 25 years, I am a certified leadership coach, and I have helped many college students with their unique challenges.
No matter what your considerations and opportunities are, I am confident that together we can help you find the best path forward for yourself.

ACADEMIC COACHING

Academic Coaching for students involves the following: decisions on major / minor options, academic success strategies, school-social balance struggles, time management, and more.
This is followed by an analysis of what shifts might be considered for the client to realize their academic goals.
All of this is done with the client leading the way, and me as your guide. Want more information? Reach out. Together, we will find solutions to your most difficult challenges.
CAREER COACHING

Career coaching for students generally includes the following: what career options exist for a chosen major / minor, internship considerations, job search strategies, how to build a resume (or how to interview well) toward your job search, or it might be that “I don’t quite know what it is I want to do with my (degree / career / life).”
One tool I frequently use with my clients is Career Anchors. This assessment can help you unlock those elements which are most important to you in your next job search.
Whatever your motivation is to consider career coaching, the first step is finding the right guide to help you down that path. Want more information? Reach out. Together, we will find solutions to your most difficult challenges.
LEADERSHIP COACHING

Leadership coaching for students usually starts with clients engaging in formal activities to deepen their self-awareness. This includes analyzing what the client believes “a leader is” or “what leadership looks like” and who they might have seen or known that “acts like a leader” and why.
This is followed by assessments and exercises to identify strengths and areas for development, including an analysis of what shifts might be necessary for the client to realize their professional goals.
All of this is done with the client leading the way, and me as your guide. Want more information? Reach out. Together, we will find solutions to your most difficult challenges.
